Connect Your NameCheap Domain to CCK

Last Update 3 years ago
1. Log into your CCK account and click on Website/Funnel Settings and then Domains. Click on Connect An Existing Domain to open the field to enter a domain.

2. Type your domain name into the space shown. Click Connect Domain.
3. After adding the domain a screen with 2 DNS records will show in red as shown below. These are the records you need to add to your domain settings in NameCheap.
NOTE: Make sure that there aren't any duplicating records as they will result in a not properly connected domain. You should have only one A record with @ as Host/Name and only one CNAME record with www as Host/Name.

4. Log into your NameCheap account - Click here to access your NameCheap account
5. After signing into your NameCheap account, select your Domain Name in question and Advanced DNS to get to the DNS records settings. You will see listed all the records you currently have and at the bottom, you will see Add New Record.

6. Add the respective records from the CCK Domain settings. NameCheap usually takes more time to refresh the DNS settings so it might take up to 24 hours to propagate.
7. Go back to your CCK account and click on Website/Funnel Settings and then Domains. Click on the setting icon next to your domain and click on toggle DNS Settings.

8. If your domain connected correctly, you should see the green screen below.

9. If you still see a red screen, your settings was not added correctly. We recommend logging a support ticket directly with NameCheap here and asking them to help you to add these settings.
